Martin Jablonski is a writer, director and recent novelist.
He was born in Katowice, Poland, in 1988. He grew up in Germany and studied Business and Sociology at Darmstadt University & UC Berkely and Japanese at Frankfurt University, where he specialized in Japanese business & law.
Martin’s entry into writing were screenplays. Most of his work involves script doctoring independent movies, but also writing his own material. He had his directorial debut with Fallacy in 2014, premiering the year before at the San Diego Film Festival.
Prior to filming Fallacy Martin founded his own production company - Triton Pictures - specialized on image and wedding films.
Every story wants to be written in the right format. While Martin still keeps on writing screenplays his debut novel The Death of a Muse's complex and widespread characters web did not feel right as a condensed screenplay and always felt more like a novel. And thus he wrote his first novel.
All of The Death of a Muse was written in Osaka, Japan, in 2016, where he still lives right now.
The Death of a Muse is to be released in the first months of 2017.
